I kind of like the idea of a cranberry velvet cloak. I once sewed myself a black velvet cloak, and I loved it.

Forget the beaded bags, though. They don’t last more than a few uses. Those beads go missing in a minute.

And, yes, my Mom would say “Buy it!”

Better still “Cathy, stay at home unless you really need (and I mean need not want) something”.

Yup…Keep walking…you don’t need either of them unless you have a big date for New Year’s or something…I once bought a beautiful blue velvet dress because I was dating a guy and I thought he would take me out for New Year’s…didn’t quite work out that way.
