Yeah, it really helps in an emergency to dial 911 from your cell phone and spend several minutes on hold while you’re routed to the highway patrol instead of your local police department.

Tracy got home rather quickly. I thought he’d still be in the concert hall. I suppose it landed.

That guy is purple with rage. Really.

The rest of the time? A horrible story.

Why would you call the world-famous detective for some “sour notes” at the conference mothership? Isn’t that what we have patrolmen for? (Don’t know the PC word for “patrolmen.”) Perhaps he’s been demoted for his “handling” of the Case of the Missing Pig on Wheels. “Tracy, a cop does not ever scream ‘We’re all doomed!!!’, got that?”

At the rate that this strip moves, Locher should get to his Xmas greeting around Independence Day.

marg, A panel with the ”merry” will be coming in a daily on the appointed day. Just like last year, but thankfully without the (unnatural) inclusion of “new” Junior, while excluding “others” with better reason to be there.

It had sort of raised questions on - “where” were Bonnie and Cool Dude (aka Joe) who were thought to be still living with Dick and Tess.

Locher’s new self-serving attribute as a Punmeister has really fallen short. Remember the 24/7 barrage of the card puns at Jack’s? He needs to leave his puns at home.

And as the Wrist Geenee buzzes with this misdirected call on a “domestic violence” matter to the Senior detective … Tess’ misshapen body, is depicted in the back-ground looking like a Pig without benefit of “wheels”.

Locher will now take a week and a half back-paddling to “patch up” this rediculous and goofy night call to the Senior detective.

My guess is that Brozman pointed out the crass absurdity to him

morrow, You’re right on, about D’Punster Locher. We’ve had the Gambling ones, the Circus breakers and now the Music makers *… * wait till the Board hears the pun like NAME, of “Hairy / Baldy” Devine - as the Writer introduces it next year.

Already we have “Phil Harmonic” and “Ludwig Harmonic” as virtuoso examples in the melodic brigade..
