Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Even as a Christian, Iâll admit itâs true. We had no idea when Jesus was born, and since the pagans had saturnalia, and everyone was celebrating anyway, we figured weâd mix our holiday in with theirs, seeing as how everyone already had the day off and all.
This is why we celebrate the joy of Christ year round! :)
Merry Christmas, happy holidays, happy Hanukkah, joyous Kwanzaa, happy solstice, and have a nice day.
Pick whatever applies to you, and know it came from my heart!
You know, my and Klaatuâs story is much like the Christmas story ⊠a man of peace comes down to earth to save the world ⊠adopts the name Mr. Carpenter ⊠wise men from across the world come to see him ⊠he delivers his message of peace only to be killed, resurrected, and ascend into the heavens again.
Since Klaatu and I believe in Christ we wish everyone a Merry Christmas whether they believe in Christ or not. If those who follow some other faith want to wish us seasons greetings appropriate to THEIR faith ⊠well, weâre happy to receive them. Peace and love should transcend every place and culture. MERRY CHRISTMAS to Pab and everyone who posts on GoComics.
notice that this is the only time of the year that the english word âmerryâ is used?
except for : eat, eat drink and be merry âŠ.etc etc
this is just a little JAD , since he isnât around here todayâŠ.
I could go into the origins of the word and the history of christmas and what job I used to have forty years ago,
but since nobody really cares and this is the time of year to
be âmerryââŠâŠ
then I wonât
As a respectful pagan, I wish everyone a peaceful holiday season, no matter what path you tread. May we all have enough of what we want and need, and little to none of what we donât. Happy Hannukah, Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Good Hijri and Peaceful Solstice to all. Good Festivus!! ;) Now go check on your neighbours. Itâs cold.
I love the original âGrinchâ cartoonâ the narration by Boris Karloff is exquisite.
ââŠBut, whatever the reason, his heart or his shoes, he stood there on his mountaintop, hating the Whos.â
I refuse to watch the Jim Carrey movie. I dislike it sight unseenâ one of the few things I wonât try first (liverâs another: thereâs your benchmark).
These are references to another commenter, most notably at âThe Elderberriesâ. Doesnât post here, I think. Appears to be unfamiliar with the concepts âBrevity is the soul of witâ and âToo much informationâ, among others.
I also wish everyone out there aHappy and joyful Yule, a Merry Christmas and any other religious holiday out there, plus best wishes to all the atheists and sceptics. May all work together for the good of all creatures on Mother Earth.
@bpshand Sorry. I thought you were asking about the initials. On second reading, I now see that you were were âspeakingâ somewhat tongue in cheek. He doesnât bother me as much as he does some people, but then Iâve got myself trained to recognize his avatar or login name and then skip to the next comment.

Youâre correct Assama. To move on to the next round tell us why Islam ripped off Jesus & added a sword to sell it.

Unfortunately, Iâve got to agree with him. Bah, humbug!
