First she wants him to solve a case, now she wants him to get culture…..

“Brozebra” Talent Agency?

OK, never mind.

Maybe my brother’s a Zebra.

Or maybe this has something to do with Brozman.

Or maybe I’ve been reading this strip for so long that my brain has turned into cream cheese and is dripping out of my ears.

This whole strip is on anybody’s guess list.

Love the comments much more than this silly thing called Dick Tracy. Flight Suit don’t you dare stop reading this or else where would the fun be in the comments???

Why will you get some culture going to an embassy?

Day 50 of this arc and we’re moving along. Fasten year seat belts it feels like something might happen soon.

The “culture” at the embassy will be a concert with a very unusual violin. Or else a concert by a very bizarre rock band, that didn’t exist until a day before the party. Or both. I’m betting on the violin. And Tracy will be standing around in bemusement as the guests are all relieved of their jewelry. At least, that’s how I’d run the plot, if I were plotting.

Is there anyone who likes this strip?

Is that a fashion statement (?) or a new police dress code seen in panel 3 ?

Why has the badge moved up so high, above the heart, and over the collarbone?

I like the “optical illusion” on Brozebra’s door. Is it opening inward or outward?

The guess list must not be too particular if they invite Macy.

The composition of this strip continues to amaze me…why didn’t Brozman have a medium closeup of Lizz and Dick together instead of just another talking head shot!

This strip is obviously just dashed off without a care given to any detail whatsoever…

After all…it is just a “comic strip”…

this is heartbreaking….I used to love Dick Tracy as a kid…had the whole Chester Gould collection…I was so happy to have found it here…

sigh…at what point does the artist get replaced?

Didn’t the band just have their first rehearsal yesterday? What’s the band name - “The Cover Tunes”?

Anyone notice Liz’s facial features have been softened? Not the severe eye make up I’ve been accustomed to.

Guess list: must be what they have for State dinners at the White House.

To the question ‘does anybody like this strip?’ I say ‘yes’. It is my 2nd favorite strip, and I really enoy Dick Tracy and also get a chuckle out of the comments. 1st choice goes to a comic from the past: Lil’ Abner.

Is that a Playskool computer on the desk in panel 3?

So the rock band just formed in the last 24 hours (weeks in Locher Time), yet they’ve already got a CD?

hallerk (or anyone), do you know where Li’l Abner can be found online? I’ve been using comics.com, but it only repeats the same few fragments over and over. A Google search a few months ago came up useless. Thanks.

I wonder if Brozebra is punking Locher with typos and contradictions, thinking “a few more and I finally get creative control over the strip!”.

When he started, we had jacks crashing through windows, bear traps, gun play. Since then, it is again heads talking to cell phones with maimed Locher hands.

Last year at this time we were excited about Brozebra; now we have no hope for improvement.

If the strip needs to be so painfully written and drawn, it should at least be interesting or over the top. Instead we have the worst of all worlds, a Spider-Man IV reboot strip. Why even call it Dick Tracy? Spider-Man had many spin-off comics, this could be called “DT: The Zombie Years” .

The only reason I’m here is to read the snark, although ComicsCurmudgeon is often less charitable.

I do appreciate Sydney keeping track of the contradictions and how the trademarks have been lost. I miss the yellow hat :(

Wouldn’t a return to the moon be a revitalization at this point? I wonder if they would have maimed hands and cell phones?
