Gracie: Poor Diego. He got a C-minus on his math homework. His Dad's gonna be really mad. Nora: His father's strict, huh? Gracie: No... Gracie: His father always does his homework for him.
Mostly, teachers can tell if a kid is doing his own homework. I usually could when I was teaching in grad school. Then the homework matched the tests and classwork.
For a while in the 4th and 5th grade, I was having eye issues after swimming, and my mother did my math homework. You haven’t lived till you’ve done your math homework with your mother dictating you the question and demanding every step in the answer (she had been a teacher too). So hard! The teacher called me out on it but accepted the explanation. I liked math in school!
My older sister would help me with my homework, and she’d always drop in bits that she’d learned in her own lessons, three years ahead of me. Kept me in the top of my classes all through grade school!

Maybe if Diego did his own homework he’d get better grades.

That’s a shame, Lewreader. My parents never did my homework, and now they can’t because I’ve gone farther in my schooling than they did.

Gracie should be making a lot of money tutoring the kids.
