He still won more Tours than any body and they were all juicing so whats the difference. Still a great athlete.

And isn’t that the way fans (derived from FANATIC!) act when confronted with notorious celebrity? Just listen to the difference on sports talk when YOUR team wins or loses!

If every other cyclist had not also been juicing, they would have been right to take him down.

That was the Ben Johnson thing too, everyone else did it so his 9.79 sec was a solid achievement, and was the fastest 100m for many years. And Barry Bonds HR records?

I still have no idea, other than “eyewitnesses” what they could have found. And eyewitnesses are known to lie, esp. if they have a bone to pick with the guy they turned in. Now France was determined to find something to get rid of him, so they picked this. And what real evidence do they have? Not a single drug test was failed. Yet they “claim” he was drugging. what I don’t understand is why he just gave up. Stopped fighting. Makes no sense, which is why he was declared GUILTY

The real tragedy is that USA Cycling were the ones to find him guilty, without any contest from Lance. He got tired of the BS and just quit. Can’t blame him, but I am boycotting all the products that dropped him. Bunch of hypocrites.

Talk about an object lesson in Napoleonic law, from a race in the country that gave us Napoleon.

“The jury finds that while there is no evidence to indicate you committed the murder, we find you guilty anyway because we just KNOW you pulled the trigger.”

The sound of crickets chirping that you hear reflects the remaining interest in road cycle racing among American sports fans.

The man kicked cancer’s (censored) … who cares about the Tour de France? … he passed every drug test ever administered, so he wasn’t using PEDs … if (IF!) he was blood doping and it helped him beat cancer so thoroughly, every oncologist in the world should be testing him seven ways from Sunday to see if what he did can help the cancer patients of the world … let’s get our priorities in order

timbob2313—-He was fighting it for years, but it was costing him a fortune in money & time & getting nowhere against forces that had more money & power than he did.

It is a shame that a hero is forced this give up his well deserved titles because of jealously and a fickle public. I don’t care what they think they had on him. I will always feel that it was a witchhunt and they where out to get him. Don’t worry Lance you will always have a fan here.

Lance was cheated. It doesn’t matter what the bribed up officials say, Lance Armstrong won all those Tour de Frances fair and square. I will always acknowledge him as the winner.
