The simple fact that she’s coming up with a blended noun for the relationship indicates that she’s really not mature enough to have a solid one. But I’ll be interested to see how it all plays out anyway.

OK, I am a great fan of Greg Evans. I have stood up for his story lines good times and bad, I think it has been worth it. I’ve got a lot out of this strip and the friendships I have made here.But …If these two start performing Grease, I may well have to take my leave.Anything else, I’ll be ok with that.

So, Luann can drift along on this fantasy about a guy half a globe away— whom she kept at arm’s length all while he was with her, and can feel safely insulated from any risks posed by a real relationship with someone actually accessible. Sorta makes you wonder who she is really interested in.

Best kind of boyfriend, one you don’t see on a daily basis.

I wonder, because the face-to-face encounter will not transpire until Summer, if Greg may have a bit of a plot twist in mind to apply as well? Perhaps Greg will have Luann meet someone in her town/school during the Winter/Spring and will grudgingly go out with him, and then fall for this new guy. If so, then it could be an interesting set of circumstances as Summer approaches and Luann would have to debate within herself if Quill is the “one” or this new guy is the “one”. It is a relatively common occurrence, especially in young teens starting to date.

Well, it seems the Dirty Old Men (of any age and gender) are revving up for the upcoming visit. The DOMs will most likely be teased and then disappointed once again.

I was just seeing an obvious response for Luann in answer to Bernice’s “Just don’t be an annoying item” comment. I have no particular dislike of Bernice.

Ugh, please spare us the teenage angst of Luann mooning over Quill! Move on to the next sub-story, PLEASE!

Svetlana is right. If he comes to visit in her summer he’ll be missing school in his winter! I get tired of her “falling in love” with every foreign student in her school. Remember that boy from Spain she chased away with her immature behavior? She hasn’t changed. Still selfish and petty. And no, not all teen girls are like that!

My son married an Aussie and she is the light of my families life. Of course he was 45 and she was 37 when they married. By the way, they met on-line but they have a good example in my husband and me as we will be celebrating 50 years on the 4th of July next year. P.S. Screw Tiffany

Well, it seems that Luann has finally found her bliss. I sincerely hope that Bernice will be contacted by the old self-styled occult philosopher who wants to have her work as a naked librarian in the lodge of a secret society!

Tiffany is funny. I used to want her to shape up and become a mature and responsible human being, but then I realized that Greg Evan’s world would be diminished, and lose some of it’s magic. She’s fine the way she is…well, mostly. It was painful seeing her in that trashy sci-fi movie costume. Even so, she doesn’t have to be totally 2 dimensional, a glimpse of her humanity once in awhile is nice, like when she talked openly with Ox after he saved her, or tried to use her ‘acting powers’ for good to help TJ. If you really truly hate her, that’s fine. I don’t care:)

THANK YOU for making him visit her and not the other way around. Please don’t make this wind up with Luann moving to Australia, it’s always the woman who moves for a relationship.
