As much as I like this storyline, I find a bit unlikely that kids talk like adults.

When I was in grade school, we were allowed to celebrate holidays, including Christmas and Easter. Cupcakes and gift sharing were normal. Kool-aid was the drink. Anyone not choosing to partake was given alternatives. Including permits to go home. Parents and authorities worked together. Government did not yet have their nose in personal life.

Substitute okra with broccoli, and I’m in, too….

And in your case, some would say totally ineffective. However, those with a higher regard for teachers would say that while you can force a fool to sit in class, you can’t force him to learn.

I agree, an educator worth his or her salt would have taught you that the word is “overpaid” not “over payed.” ;-)

@Carlo Recagno“As much as I like this storyline, I find a bit unlikely that kids talk like adults.” = ===== =Agreed.. I’m still uneasy about the ‘different feel’ about the art-work, as mentioned before.. Something’s up.

@ Robert Thompsett – “Over paid (‘payed?’) and over rated” huh. I would say the opposite is more like it..

The nosy National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and state and local Public Health departments have caused our population to grow out of control because they improved the health of most Americans. Terrible!

We had fewer people driving on the roads and clogging our schools when we could count on polio, cholera, and smallpox to keep the population in check.

For goodness sakes, government has foisted on us vaccination programs to reduce by 95% risks of potentially debilitating diseases like hepatitis B, measles, mumps, tetanus, rubella, and diphtheria.

Stay out of our lives! Maybe we like those diseases! What would we do anyway with the billions of dollars it would cost to treat these illnesses?

Don’t even get me started on safer roads and cars and how they have caused the natural checks on population growth to wither.

If these kids don’t eat sugary snacks, how will our dentists survive? Think, people!
