OK, that’s easy, I do my own laundry now, I support everybody’s career, and I have no problem with com….Oh, wait…..committed, you mean like for a long time? Yoiks! Man, I don’t know…..sounds like a job….

I did all that for 38 years, including all the laundry, and still got the boot. Guess it was my cooking.

I had mine comitted.

My wife was sick and taped up some ribbon to hang “Get Well” cards on. The next day the tape had given way and they had all hit the floor. I picked them up and began restringing the ribbon to stay. She walked in and said (as usual): “I can do that.”I said (as usual): “I know you can, but I’m doing it.”She said, “But you don’t do it right.”I said, “Deal with it.”They are still hanging there, a week later. Now, who didn’t do it right? The answer is obvious.Obviously, I didn’t do it right…again.

notsoastute, while dutifully doing the laundry (whites) a bright orange glove found it’s way into the batch. Even though it was orange, it turned all my sock and underwear pink! Yoiks! So I figured I’d use some bleach and turn them white again. So I put them in a tub to soak for a bit….but the tub they were soaking in was blue…All of a sudden, all my underwear was lavender…Not exactly an improvement……

Whoa, has to do both our laundry if you have a career.

You mean there is another husband out there than does nothing correctly? I am so bad at things that she usually has to get a handyman to do it, I pity the fool…….

my son-in-law has always done his own laundry, and my grandson, too, when he got to his “teens”…and the whole family cooks!!!!

I agree @DGH10 …all men expect that. Why are they all outraged that a woman expects the same in return?

Once she gets him, she’ll decide that’s not enough.

I hear that concierges are real snots. True?

Concierges’ do say they can do and find anything for their clientle. The lady has the right idea.

Hmm…let’s see…I do my own laundry cooking cleaning…and I clean up her mess at least once a week….Who me? NOT married,never have been,but I do have a dog and SHE is forever running my life. Does anyone know where Petey is these days?

From real life experience, being uppity doesn’t work in the hospitality business..Kinda counter productive….Good way to get fired, though…
