I have enjoyed this strip even though I’m not a big sports nut. I especially love ESU – did I mention I live in Austin, Tx? Whatever happens after this I thank Mr. Millar and Mr. Hinds for the humor and insight they’ve brought into my life.
Tank was carried in CBUS until the morning CJ folded years ago. I just rediscovered it this fall. Always liked the satire of our obsession with sports. I hope someone can be found to carry on his legacy.
My sympathies to Jeff’s family and friends, and to Bill Hinds. I’ve read and enjoyed Tank since it started. I will really miss his wit and sense of humor.
Very sorry to hear of Jeff Millar’s passing. To both him and Bill Hinds, thank you for the many years of putting words, pictures, laughs, and insight to the love/hate relationship many of have with sports. Jeff Millar’s lasting contributions will be missed.
