She will give what ever it takes to get that @^*# welcome.Wally will not let her go into this alone. Depression can make someone who is unstable, dangerous. She fought in the bar against strangers, how will she react to the two responsible for her condition. Wish AM were here. Blessed Be

On a more serious note, why is Holly so responsible? What does she think she owes her step dad? This could work into two stories in one.

You go Holly! I’ve said it before, that diminutive frame is packed to the bursting point with all the good things that make survival worth the trouble! Just one more reason to love that 3 ft tall, bipedal talking mouse. ;-)

It’ll take a while but I’m betting they’ll end up friends. Linda was the product of her environment. Once Holly understands this, and sees that Linda’s eyes have been opened, she’ll forgive her. Might take a while tho…. a VERY LONG while.

In a survival colony like Endtown, people with special talents would be precious and relied upon to perform those talents always because there’s no one else. Holly’s apparently talented in helping people assimilate, and it’s her duty to do it when asked, no matter who’s asking or who’s to be assimilated.

PTSD + Koala = Bad.Actually, I started thinking about how even if meds were available, how would you be sure that meds would even work on someone who’s a koala in the first place.Maybe we should just dress her up in Road Warrior bandit gear and give her a megaphone. Most adorable apocalypse ever.

Holly is one those that feels more obligated to Endtown that others. He played the Stepdad card on her. In other words you owe me one. It is a request in a nice way but apparently he (her dad) does not know the full back story with Linda and Holly. Probably security reasons on a need to know. So he thinks it like when Wally came into her life.I cant wait to see the conflict grow between Holly and Linda. There are going to be sparks. But beware Linda is going to have an agenda when she snaps out of her funk.

Wow, four panels of not so cute mouse in two days. I believe that’s a record. I wonder, Holly says it’s her responsibilty. Does that mean she’s been given the responsibility or is she putting it on herself (even though it was requested by others)? What is it about being Holly Hollister that makes her responsible? Officially, her payback (her job- because of her personality) to Endtown for being accepted in. Or unofficially, because she feels she’s endebted to Doc, Maw, or someone else? Her little rant seems to have Wally confused also.

Well, Koala Girl is either going to have her mind completely taken off of self pity and driven to dealing with reality or swiftly go jump out a window. I don’t think I’d like to be on the receiving end of the boot camp that Holly can deliver, however; I’ve watched it work.

Ever notice whenever a character in “Endtown” swears, it’s always the same? Circular scribble, star, two exclamation points, and vaguely-arrow-shaped-scribble? Even when, like above, sometimes it’s a verb and sometimes it’s a noun…

Holly feels like it a duty given to her, one that she accepted on here with the determination of " a mouse has to do what a mouse has to do"!THe rats are like that when it’s after a cage cleaning and they must re-build their rat’s nest again. I love to watch their determination and little arguments over newspaper shred placement.
