It’s time for the annual “pets terrorize the Christmas Tree” tradition…..

I am so happy my dog has left our tree alone! (he did decide to help open some of the presents early though)

I had to do the same thing with the lower branches on our tree.

When I was a youngster we had a Scottie that was less than a year old. I came home and found him in his bed with a single Christmas ornament in there with him. When I went into the living room I saw the tree on it’s side and decorations spread all over the room. Pretty good work by a tiny little fluff ball.

That and limited floor are why I leave the lowest branches off our artificial (bought after our last live tree fought back – had to take Lindy to the vet with a bellyful of dropped needles).

Friend’s cat would hunt down her catnip present, drag it to the trunk of the tree and stay there for the rest of the week. Chewing on her giftie. (except for the occasional stumble to the litterbox)
