OK, I admit it — I sometimes have days like that at work, too! :)

Days?!? I’ve had whole WEEKS like that! At Work AND Home!

I only have those days during the winter and I’m not fond of them. Brutal is a good word to describe them

Funny how “I don’t want to get up” turns into “I don’t want to go to bed”.

A perfect no hitter.He seems ok with that,now he can take it out on Mom or Hobbes.

I used to have days like this at work, but I fixed that problem. I retired.

I have always just been thankful that I woke up at all.

It’s a perfect no-hitter, all right. Hobbes didn’t attack and maul Calvin as he came into the house after school.

He hasn’t had the epiphany that all that negativity is within himself. And he resisted everything but still had to do it. All that energy wasted in pushing back at everything could be used in more positive ways that are active, not reactive. Will he ever learn?

Amen to that!!

Story of my life!

My parents had no trouble getting me up early for school but they probably would if they tried to get me up early on a weekend.

Wait till u go to work Calvin.Come to think of it i hated school myself.The work force is much better u get paid.

I used to be in a very bad way that I’d have to reincarnate again, and thus go to school again. But that is all pretty much behind me now: when it comes time for me to die, I will die. When it comes time for me to be born again, I will be reborn. And then when it comes time to start going to school again — elementary, middle school, so forth — we deal with it then, we deal with it then. God, Grant me the Serenity…

Calvin once said that he doesn’t have to do anything that he doesn’t want to do. Well, in that case, Mom doesn’t have to make his breakfast, or do his laundry, or make his bed, or clean up his messes day after day after day, because she doesn’t want to! Boy, Moms can sure make you want to do things (LOL!).
