Nate should go through all the pressure and convince his dad to move to Seattle.

No, it pry ain’t that. Prediction: at the last minute, Jenny’s mom doesn’t have to go to Seattle, so she and Artur are still together. :)

seattle is great city. coffee, forests, tech(microsoft, nintendo, etc…), and the seahawks.

Long-distance relationships are hard. (Do college kids still say someone is GU — Geographically Undesirable?)

I think something will stop Jenny from moving because Licoln has had Jenny as a character for over 20 years and I don’t think he would get rid of her just like that without a reason so she will probably end up staying

I kind of wonder,why does Nate like Jenny?She treats him like gum on the sole of her shoe.

I guess Nate thinks she’s cute and all,but she is always so mean to him at times.

Ah, the one high point. ;) She will miss Nate though. She will remember his antics with a smile.

I thought about it: if she convinced Artur, also. It won’t be good for Nate, but at least he’ll get rid of Artur. Hopefully this ends right before the flight, so we can see Jenny more.

I think “you’re not helping” means she would feel better about having one good thing for leaving, but she’s looking for a way to stay. The downside of staying is Nate.

Interesting! If Seattle is reallly 3,000 miles from where the strip is set, the only place in the US where it could be set is somewhere in the north of Alaska! Everyplace else in the continental US or even Hawaii is several hundred miles closer than 3,000 miles.

Of course, that’s assuming Nate has his facts right, which is a very dubious assumption.

this always seems unrealistic to me since I have an 11 yr old boy. He has no interest in girls and last time we talked about moving he was so excited. He’d miss a few friends but he’d make new ones fast.

There is something about today’s society that has children growing up quicker, dating earlier. Those who cherish childhood are presented to be in the minority. I didn’t get interested in boys until I was in grade 12. And I was happy. Maybe it is all the growth hormones in our meats that have them maturing faster.

you would think that Nate’s comment in the last panel would incourage Jenny and make her happier.

I used Geobye distance calculator, they say the distance between those two cities is just 2489 miles, a lot less than 3,000. Maybe what Google maps showed was the DRIVING distance.
