I first heard this exact bit on the short-lived TV series The Charmings where Prince Charming and Snow White somehow ended up in modern times. I think this was back in the 80s. They changed the casting of Snow White between the pilot and the series and I personally think that was a big mistake.
I love Pete Townshend and Roger Daltry. But it’s not the same without John Entwistle on bass. I saw Keith Moon once, the first time I saw The Who and of course he was fantastic and outrageous but Entwistles death impacted me more.
Absolutely loved A & B growing up (and now). They are on YouTube. Burns and Allen are great too. I think it is great that later generations can see these great comedians..Going across the pond, has anyone seen John Fortune and John Bird? It is satire, but funny.

I feel sorry for entire generations who don’t know who Abbott and Costello were.

That does sound like something they would do. I’ve been listening to Abbott & Costello audio CD’s on my commutes this week. Gotta love ’em.

The concert version was done as a bit with Dick van Patten and the youngest son on Eight Is Enough.

In the full A & C routine, one position player was left out and I can’t remember now which one it was. It was either SS or LF, maybe?

Reminds me of the lady who called me and asked me for my middle initial, and I said, “Y.”, and she said, because she needed it for the contract.

Just comply and…… guess… rather than argue!
