Eddie needs a PR man, You usually only get one or wto shots at being the Messiah….

I’m thinking warm mud baths should be a required sacrament….Saunas too….Oh, and orange Jello!

Kylie, half of Floridians ARE Canadians, eh? The rest are from New York and Michigan! I don’t think they let Ohioans in…

Impressed that Wiley tied a Sunday and Monday story… most strips rarely do that

What other comic strip besides “Non Sequitur” uses the Northeast U.S. so consistently as its setting? The only other current one that comes to mind is “9 Chickweed Lane.” . New York and often specifically the Bronx used to be where most early cartoon characters resided. It seems to me once animations started, the settings started to move West. .Krazy Kat backdrops were usually those neat, stylistic desertlandscapes. And of course, there were the “Roadrunner” cartoons. Most recently, “Calvin and Hobbes” used them quite often, too.

Cap’n Eddie’s cat seems to be moving around a lot today – but refuses to show his/her face …. or is there something happening on the other side of the panel we can’t see?? A mouse maybe?

I used to walk across the mud flats when I was clam digging, and never got a single donation, or even a descent offer for the clams!

Interesting mystery, besides; why is it we only see the cat’s back regardless of which angle we view Eddie?

If Eddie plays his cards right, he could become very wealthy. Ask L. Ron Hubbard or Joel Osteen.

On the other hand, Bill Keane (the cartoonist who does “The Family Circus”) is probably accusing Wiley Miller of blasphemy

jrecard, on one of their later albums, Firesign Theater did a spoof about The Princess Goddess who had just died in a mud boarding accident…The album is called Give Me Immortality or Give Me Death..1996….It’s as good as their first few…

Some of us out here in the midwest refer to them by another term: Touron….the simple explaination for a touron is that they are part tourist….and ALL moron.
