Cathy: You've lost six pounds on our diet so far, and I've only lost one, but the important thing is... Irving: I win! Cathy: Excuse me? Irving: I win! I win! I win! Yes! I win! "Open, honest expression of feelings"... yeah, right...
Well, Irving sure knows how to stick his foot in his mouth clear down to his toes… That lovelorn advice didn’t work so well for him! Have a great Thursday all… ;)
Dear Mrs. Guisewite:Yes, it has been almost 50 years old. But this memory is still there. The only time I saw Cathy not uptight is when she worked at that tea shop at Ann Arbor. She was carefree. She had such a big smile. She almost got herself killed by a car. She said that drivers were supposed to stop for UM students. My wife makes me not take myself seriously. When we were in Hawaii and Cancun, she told people I was her driver. My little Mexican wife loves life. She drags this Chinaman into happiness.I am lucky to have found her.
You NEVER go on a diet with a man! He will always lose faster and you will HATE him. And with Irving gloating, well he’s lucky he left that house in one piece.
Cathy and I should go on a diet together for the next week or so. She will win for sure. No way am I going to lose any weight, in fact I expect to gain some. Something about being on a vacation kills any intentions of dieting.
And to think I thought Irving was finally maturing, too. How disappointing. Now someone please remind me again . . . why is Cathy so crazy about this guy who’s nothing but a little boy in a grown man’s body? Oh, wait! It’s because SHE’S just as crazy as he is too!!!!!
Hi, rgcviper!
Hello and Happy Thursday, fellow “Cathy” fans. Hope everyone had a really nice day today!
And this is the guy you are going to marry, Cathy…..maybe give it a little more thought. Tho he fits right into the world of today — nothing counts except competition.

I know, right? You don’t want to honestly express feelings. Bad idea.
