My wife bought one of those cavernous “handbags”, and I told her there’s a label on the bottom that reads, “Acme Shoplifter Starter Kit”.

I actually have a smaller purse to use at the mall.

I don’t go to malls anymore. They are “dead” around here. The nearest larger shopping town near me, just put in “roundabouts” down the whole length of the main shopping street. Since nobody knows how to drive in them, they avoid the stores. All the bars and shop owners are feeling the pinch.

Some malls have luggage carts.

I used to use a larger purse when my kids were younger, so that I could carry around the extra stuff they needed. Now that they are older, I carry a wallet with a strap attached (a wristlet) and that’s all I need. It’s great.

Complaints like Cathy and Charlene’s is why I switched to a much smaller purse about three years ago and why I’ve never gone back to a bigger one since. It’s absolutely senseless and why we women feel the need to put ourselves through this I do not know! :-/
