Indeed. I don’t know why people can’t get dressed before going to the store. I’ve seen people shopping in PJ bottoms and slippers, for cryin’ out loud!
Either look like the masses or have the masses like the way you look? I mean really, who actually wears the stuff you see on the fashion runways to Walmart or the Piggly Wiggly?
My 14-year-old daughter told me that she might be voted “Best Dressed” in her middle school yearbook. She mostly wears jeans & t-shirts, with the occasional dress or skirt. Her friends told her that it’s because she’s not wearing the same dumpy sweats & hoodies that everyone else wears.
Haha, so true! While I’m fairly casual, I don’t wear sweatpants or flip flops, and I try to look nice even if I’m wearing a t-shirt. A fun necklace or a scarf can go a long way.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! It’s Jr’s 16th birthday today!! I’m so proud of her! She’s beautiful, sweet and smart. She’s not the typical teenager and she’s going to go far in life. Watch out world! She’s on her way! :-) Have a great day, all!
To each his/her own, in my mind. As long as you’re decent and feel OK about how you look, go for it. I think we have some unspoken basic standards for dress, but who am I to stifle the creativity of others?

Dress for success, I say. Oh, any of those outfits on display are fine….just ditch the hats.
