You’ll blow the whole rebate three months from now on ink cartridges

I have spent my share of money on fancy printer, scanner, fax machines over the years and pretty much every one of them failed for some reason when I really needed to print, scan or fax.

The smartest thing I did is buy an Epson (ET-2060); it does not use cartridges, but bottles of ink (4); I had to buy a bottle of black ink after 2 years; color is still going strong!

There are other places you could print that bar code on, Cathy…they might work better than on your forehead.

I had one ink jet printer almost 20 years ago. When I realized how much I was spending on ink cartridges I quit using it and invested in a colour laser printer. It is still going strong. Yes the toner cartridges are expensive – about $400 every two years – but I do buy my paper by the case. If I was still using ink that would probably be $4000 every two years.

Thinking of lindz.coop today when I heard the ice storm warnings for her area. Hope she stays safe.Crazy January here – it was way above freezing yesterday. Colder and snowing today but I will take snow over freezing rain anytime.Hope everyone is having a great, safe weekend.

Is it just me, or is Cathy 100% on to something here? Her “bar code” line made me laugh, and her logic about Irving hit the nail on the head. Hypothetically, anyway. Good one today!

    HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.
