I can relate to this! I will spend some time and effort to clean up an area that has been driving me crazy, and sure enough, by the next day, someone in my house has dumped stuff on it. Drives me nuts. This is how people go off the deep end. ;-)

If Cathy would just file all that paperwork into nicely labeled folders, she’d not only have a much bigger “clean spot” on her desk than that one small area, she’d also be able to find whatever she’s looking for a whole lot more quickly than she can right now with all those disorganized piles of paper sitting there, just waiting to fall ….. either into each other or, worse, all over the floor.

Thank you, Mom…the foot is healing ok, I got a real cast yesterday, stitches out next Monday. Doc says the x-ray looks great, and I’ve been off the meds since Saturday. The new cast is uncomfortable, but I guess that’s what it is supposed to be. Getting a little cranky because I can’t walk or drive or do anything I want to do for 6-8 weeks. Hubby is taking very good care of me, despite crankiness. :) As for Cathy…there are no “clean” spots….

Has a boss a long time ago that insisted that my desk be completely cleared when I left. I pointed out to him that each pile represented work on a separate program. When I told him how much time it would take every morning to get stuff back into the correct piles that I could, and would rather, spend on programming he suggested that maybe I should just close my door when I left.
lindz.coop Sorry to hear about not being able to walk about for 6-8 weeks. That would be frustrating indeed. If you get too cranky feel free to vent here – we will all understand.
