I mean, who doesn’t love hugs? I guess sometimes one has to resort to sneaky tactics to get them, but hey, whatever works.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! We are going out of town for a bit for a change of scenery and to celebrate the 4th. Have a great week!

Oh yes, certain words are music to a dogs ears. Magical, even.

The words “out,” “cookies” and wanna go bye-bye?" always got my sweet little girl super-excited like this too! Obviously these (and/or similar words just like them) are the universal language of love and happiness when it comes to dogs! ❤ U●ᴥ●U ❤

Somehow I missed comic time yesterday so just caught up on the comments.Thank you to all those who wished myself and fellow Canadians a Happy Canada Day. Although there were concerts or fireworks it turned out well. Just after dark at least 9 families around the bay had their own fireworks display. At one time I was watching 5 different displays. Awesome way to end a hot day.rgcviper – you can get everything transferred to a new computer in only 2 days? Wow. It takes me about 3 weeks to do that – which is why I tend to keep my main computer running as long as possible.

For those of you south of the border, have a great July 4th weekend. Have fun and stay safe. We don’t want to lose anyone here.

I have to say: that was a pretty clever way to attract attention from the dogs. Score one for Cathy’s mom.

@hendelca: Well, the new computer is up and running after a couple days, though I still have a LOT to transfer. It’ll probably take me at least a week or two. So far, so good, though … wish me luck.

I once had a cat that would run and jump in the car when I said let’s go to Grandma’s…and then would jump in again when I said let’s go home. She wouldn’t do it for going to the vet tho. Those were the days when you could leave car windows open.
