Get everyone's opinion! Irving: THAT'S NOT HOW MEN PROBLEM-SOLVE! MEN PROBLEM-SOLVE BY SAYING NOTHING TO ANYBODY!! Cathy: He doesn't like his hair or our superior way of dealing with things.

Just shave it. Some guys look good bald.

The only way to get a guy to stop obsessing about anything is to dilute it with other things to obsess about. Hand him a jar of pickles. When he can’t open it mention the gym membership he isn’t using or the fact that his belt seems to be shrinking.

Funny how when I have a problem, my husband tries to solve it by telling me what to do. When he has a problem, he doesn’t want to talk about it at all. Granted, I’d like to vent about it (not get advice, unless I ask for it), so maybe he should treat me the way he wants to be treated.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Saturday! Have a great day, all!

There are times when I already know how to solve the problem so all I need to do is vent. Unfortunately my wife jumps in mid-rant with advice on how to deal with it – often with the solution I already know. Cannot seem to get her to realize that all I need is the vent then I am fine. Glad I can vent here when needed without having to deal with a lot of unnecessary advice. But when I need advice I can get it here too. That is one of the many reasons I hang out here and not on other sites.
Beautiful but windy day today. Waves too big for the kayak but swimming is still fun. Got the whole family here so having a great day. I hope your day is as good.

Somehow I’m sensing a difference of opinion here.

I’m with hendelca…sometimes you just need to vent…best for the spouse to just let it happen. My husband calls himself “Mr. Fixit” but that doesn’t always work out too well.
