I can relate to this. Early in our relationship, I tried buying clothes for my husband that I thought would look good on him. He claimed that he didn’t like shopping and didn’t want to shop, so I thought I’d help him out. Turns out it’s better if he shops for himself, so I haven’t shopped for him in many years.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday and happy September! Have a great day, all!

No matter how cool it is, if Mom picks it out it is automatically lame.

Stick with the classics, Irving and you can’t loose. Check out the looks on the store’s mannequins, and pick what you love.

Just like me, my husband likes to buy his clothes from Kohl’s too. I can usually do a pretty good job picking out his shirts because I know his favorite brands and colors, but when it comes to shorts, pants, etc., he has to shop for those things on his own. I can certainly pick out what I think would LOOK good on him but only HE can decide whether or not something fits and feels right to him.
As for Irving: why are they even in here anyhow? He JUST got done ordering everything online that he said he needed while they were sitting outside in the parking lot. Talk about a dumb waste of time! :-/

I hate shopping for clothing – in person or online. So my wife buys the clothes and brings them home for me to try on. Still cannot make her believe my actual size or maybe it is wishful thinking on her part. She frequently has to take the clothes back and get a larger size. However, I do get final say in the style and colour. I get final say but it does not affect the purchase or the fact that I have to wear them anyway. Still, better than me having to go to a store to pick out clothing.
Have a great Tuesday.

I want the new clothes to be exactly the same as the old ones. How is that so hard to understand?

Ow—I think my head just exploded. Who knew giant [eye-rolls] could do that? Ha.
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.
Still missing our old friends we haven’t seen for so long, such as Aaron, Billy, and KoolFunkyGrrl. If you happen to stop by “Cathy’s Corner” sometime, we’d love to hear from you again.

Just like I don’t want my husband picking out my clothes, I let him pick out his own.
