Too many bills...too little time...and the feast of the year just ten days away...we turn to the cheerful woman in the kitchen who's there 24/7 to help us believe it's all possible... Cathy: Mommy? Mom: RACHEL RAY! Cathy: I didn't mean someone on TV, mom! Mom: No problem! She also has a website, magazine, Facebook page, cookbook line and twitter feed!

Is Rachael Ray still doing her different shows on TV? I liked the one where she travelled around and managed to eat on $30 a day.

Rachael Ray is the Jack LaLanne of food. For those who don’t remember Jack LaLanne think of a Richard Simmons of the 60s and 70s with less glitter.

I imagine that some of the celebrity chefs have some good recipes, but there’s nothing like the ones from your family.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! Have a great day, all!

lightenup is right, recipes passed down are the best. Just wished we could find Mom’s recipe for the best maple walnut fudge I have ever tested. We could never find that scrap of paper after she died.
Well, off to Kirkland Lake for a meeting tonight – of course there are snow flurries. It always snows when I have to travel there in the winter. Good thing I learned to drive on snowy roads. I just wished everyone else, including may of the transport drivers, had the same training. I hope your day is sunny and bright.
