I wonder what Iron Chef could do with Thanksgiving? I’m sure Alton Brown could whip up a traditional Turkey meal in an hour or so. Though, I myself watch Bitchin’ Kitchen for the shoes as much as the meals. It’s a drinking game for me. Every time she shows her shoes I take a shot.

i love watching these shows as well…i don’t cook (it’s just me)…one thing on my bucket list, is to eat at a professional chef’s restaurant..

Maybe the Hallmark channel will show a “traditional” Thanksgiving? Although in most families there’s always some yelling and a fight, so maybe the Hallmark channel isn’t so accurate after all, haha! I think Thanksgiving in most families is somewhere between the Real Housewives and the Hallmark channel. :-D
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!

Same thing these days – only it is often what website is that on!
lightenup – sure I can have turkey with stuffing any time I want it but I am adult enough to know that, since my wife is the one that makes really good dressing, I have to wait until she wants to cook a full turkey dinner.
karlykru – When you finally catch up on the comments, really sorry to hear about your 2 week power outage. I hope you did not experience any serious problems because of it – other than being behind on the Cathy comments that is.

The nice thing about Thanksgiving is that we pretty much do the same thing every year, it’s the only time of year we do it—so we don’t get tired of it, we know how it all goes together and all of that makes it really easy.
