I don’t miss coupons. I don’t use them, I just end up in line behind people who do use them. Actually, I don’t mind the good coupon users but I’m usually behind the ones who have expired coupons and need to have an explanation from the poor sales girl(and then the manager) for every one of them.

I’m one of those in-between people… I don’t carry around paper coupons anymore, but I also don’t have a bunch of store apps on my phone either. I guess I’ll search for coupons online first if I know I’m going to go to a store.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! Have a great day, all!

If something is 75% off, it was at least 70% too expensive to begin with.

There are a few stores I won’t go to without a coupon (Kohls, Old Navy, Michaels) because everything is always on clearance if you take a moment to get the coupon. Coupons are unfortunately becoming more important at Target and King Soopers as well, but it’s impossible to search through their apps, so I don’t bother.

I think I have used maybe five coupons in my life. Never found the savings worth the hassle of handling a paper coupon. Now Canadian Tire money is a different story. It started way back when Ontario first implemented a sales tax. Canadian Tire stores started offering that % in Canadian Tire money. It was used just like real paper money but only at Canadian Tire stores. It was a real pain to be in line behind someone paying for a purchase with $50 worth of 2, 3 and 5 cent bills. Now it is all virtual so the cashier simply asks if you want to use some of your virtual money to pay for the current purchase. No physical coupon needed. Much easier.
Another week gone by way to quickly. But that means it is another weekend so that is a good thing. Enjoy your day.
