Most women own jeans in a variety of sizes. Many expect to temporarily go "up" a size after December. Few are prepared for that other post-holiday horror:
Cathy: I have to go up a size in my stretchy waistband sweatpants!
Everybody in my circle is talking about how much weight they’ve gained during COVID, and I haven’t gained an ounce. But I did gain three pounds over the holiday season…
The fit of your clothes is a good way to tell about where your head and your body are at. Whittle that middle, Cathy! You certain know what needs to be done to accomplish it.
Guess I am doing well with no weight gain due to covid and no weight gain over the holidays. Maybe high levels of stress and some bad news burns off calories. I got the news 2 days before Christmas that my girlfriend had died. Yes, I am married but a girl I went out with before I met my wife and I have remained friends all these decades. She and her husband often spent time with my wife and I so there were no issues. Her death was not a surprise as she was a very heavy smoker and she was told over two years ago that she would not live long more than a year. Still, not easy news to take. With that on top of the continuing battle I am having with the co-owner of our business is more stress than I want to handle. Ah well, not having to worry about extra weight, at least no more extra than I am already carrying, is a good thing.

Wow! That’s a real wake up call. When your “fat pants” get to small you need to do more exercise. Start “table push aways”.

That “temporarily” will soon be the new permanent. Be strong and work on getting rid of that extra weight!
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Wednesday! Have a great day, all!

OK. The name of the last jeans size (“Oops”) made me laugh. Maybe a little too close to reality, but still … good one.
HI, MOM. Hello, “Cathy” Clan.
