There’s no such thing as slightly wilted lettuce. Toss it.

Three day old fries? Blech. Those and the mystery macaroni sound gross. If you don’t know what your leftovers are, then toss them. And the salad is only from today, so it’s still fine. Finish it for dinner. Leafy greens, which are still carbs just a different type, are much better for your health than the rest of those things. (Yeah, I know they don’t care)
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

Holy cow! Their leftovers are awesome. I could eat for a week on that list alone. …well, I would need more Chinese food, but still …nummy.

Two-day-old pizza? Three-day-old fries? Last Sunday’s spaghetti? Last week’s lasagna? “Mystery macaroni”? YUCK! With four, less-than-skinny, adults living in that house, how do they even have leftovers at all ….. let alone more than just a day old? If they’re cooking more than they can finish off in one sitting, then they’re wasting food because it’s obvious that no one in that house wants to eat it (whatever “it” is) more than once. Better to make just enough so that there’s no such thing as leftovers in their refrigerator; that way, the food — not to mention the money spent buying it — isn’t wasted by having to throw it out later.

They may be kinder to carbohydrates but I don’t think carbs are being kind to them.
Even more ice huts left the ice yesterday but in their place there are a few people fishing from their vehicles – not snow machines but at least one SUV and a couple of 1/2 trucks. With the above freezing temperatures today and for the rest of the week I suspect those vehicles won’t be back on the ice. Getting stuck in the slush that is already forming would not be fun.
lindz.coop – colour me jealous. I like winter and snow but as soon as the grass becomes visible in the spring I want the rest of the snow and ice to melt right now! Thanks for sending us the nice warm sunshine.

I don’t eat “last week’s” anything.

Well, looks like they have selective dining down to a science … [eye-roll]
