Charlene: I HATE SWIMSUITS! Cathy: I understand! We're all in this together! By sharing your pain, you've helped me remember I'm not alone, either! Charlene: Thanks! I just thought I'd be in better shape than this a whole month after giving birth! Cathy: I hate support groups.

Support groups help in some ways, but I do think that you have to connect with the people in them. I tried joining a support group once (not for weight issues), but didn’t continue bc I didn’t have a lot in common with most of them and I wasn’t able to talk about things without feeling weird that no one else could relate. Sometimes finding your own group is better.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

Finding your own support group works really well if you are successful finding the right people. I did way back when I was in my mid-teens – my close friends. Unfortunately due to circumstances beyond my control – they smoked – they are no longer alive. Finding people to be my new support group is tough since I really don’t socialize much anyway. Ah well, there is always the great people here who have really helped in the past.
Enjoy your day!
