The first secret to having a a good vacation is to “unplug” from the news.

I always think the boss wants me to take my vacation days just to see how easy it is to get along without me. …not worried. Not at all. Not even a little bit.

These days I think most jobs are safe. Many companies are having trouble with finding good help. Irving needs to chill out and quit reading the headlines that may or may not apply to him. There are so many variables, such as what skills and experience he has, what potential growth his industry may have, whether he is good at his job, etc. Granted, I don’t even know what he does, other than drive Cathy crazy, which he is really good at.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Monday! School starts today here. Lil is a junior and is back in-person. Getting up and driving her was a shock to our systems, and she was not happy to actually have to wear regular clothes, haha. Have a great day, all!

He’s actually TOUCHING a newspaper! He COULD have read it on his phone.

Cathy had hold of it last. Maybe she “lost” it until the vacation is over!

I think Irving is just a wee touch insecure about his job.

A beautiful holiday Monday here although the beauty is spoiled since my younger daughter and son-in-law left for home this morning. They both have to work tomorrow and it is a 7 hour drive for them. House is way too quiet.

I thought the purpose of vacation was to escape from real life.

With these two Whack-a-Doodles, you never know, though, huh? Ha.
