Remember when we could be this confident that things would arrive overnight when they said they would? #LifeBeforeCOVID

I for one miss the days of looking at the toy section of the Sears and Roebuck catalog to circle the things I wanted.

I normally aim to have my shopping done by December 1 (don’t worry, it almost never works out that way). This year…well, I have my list all made out!

As much as I know there are supply issues this year, I’m still not finished shopping. At least I have most of it, and my kids aren’t little anymore so they understand how things happen sometimes.

I purchased my last in-store gift yesterday. Now waiting for delivery of some of the on-line gifts. Still have a couple to order yet thought. Suspect I should do it soon.

Yet again Mother Nature is confused. Most of the snow we had melted in this morning’s rain. Temperature now below freezing again and dropping. Some snow falling. Just hope it stays and accumulates for the next 3 weeks. I like a white Christmas.Enjoy your day – rain, snow, or shine.

Yup—as usual, I haven’t even started thinking about Xmas shopping yet. I don’t usually have too much to get, and still over three weeks to go …

I have most of the family gifts that never got delivered last year. Friends decided to skip gifts last year too, so I have those. My husband and I have decided to give each other Apple watches and books, so easy peasy. Done.
