So, she didn’t lose her shirt in the stock market crash(Wolf of Wall Street indeed. .sniff). She didn’t lose her savings in the dot com bubble. She didn’t go into foreclosure and bankruptcy in real estate. Wow, she had a pretty good year.

I finally did it. I finished my taxes just before midnight last night. I owed almost $2,000, so they will probably slap a penalty on top of that. I’m glad it’s over for now. I had been dreading it for the last few months.

A lot of us must have taken the day off from Cathy today. I’m like Cathy – no risky investments and I, well I used to, watch game shows on tv. I always do reasonable well for ‘Millionaire’ and ‘Jeopardy’ but I know I would not be able to answer a single question if I was a real contestant.

Spent the day in a dark theatre again – lighting is finally all set for the run-throughs this coming week – only problem is 2 cast member have tested positive for Covid. Fortunately their 5 day isolation ends on Tuesday which still gives us time to be ready for opening. Hoping no other cast or crew members get sick.

I hope everyone had a great day today.

Oh, “Millionaire” … I was totally addicted when it was on in primetime, and (to a lesser extent) in syndication. I kept all kinds of records and watched religiously. Nerd alert, aisle one. Ha. The show will never be the same now that Regis Philbin has passed, though. :(

Way to go on your virtual $125K victory, comic Cathy!

    HI, MOM. Happy Friday, Clan.

And if she had done any of those things, she would be paying through the nose taxes on them. We are this year (checks for $14,000 went in the mail today).
