She seems hopeful that he has changed. Some (usually women) stick with people, thinking they will change, but they usually don’t.

Hello Cathy friends! Happy Tuesday! Have a great day, all!

Well, it looks like Irving is still in the line up. I wonder who he dates when Cathy dumps him?

I reconciled temporarily with my wife after a six-month separation. We had changed a lot during that time. Unfortunately, we changed back rather quickly.

Sure, people can change, but often not in the ways we were hoping for. Sometimes they change for the worse, unfortunately.

I don’t remember which one it is because I haven’t seen it for a really long time, but this reminds me of an old “That ’70s Show” episode where Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart had gotten back together again after yet another one of their break-ups. When questioned by his friends why (because they couldn’t stand her), Kelso said something to the effect of it was because he had already gone through the entire alphabet of girls in town and he was back to her again (LOL)! :-D

And some people expect to be able to change their new partners to make them ‘better’. Usually does not work at all and ends in a broken relationship. My wife is still trying to change me (after almost 46 years of marriage) but has still not been successful. Fortunately she does not try very hard.

Happy Tuesday everyone. I hope you enjoy it.
