Haha, been there, done that. I’ve had such high hopes on my times off, thinking I’d catch up on stuff, but I never do. That pile of stuff is going to come back to the office, in the same state it is leaving in.
Hello Cathy friends! Happy Friday! If I don’t come by this weekend, have a wonderful Christmas to those who celebrate! Have a nice day, all!
As far as I’m concerned, working while on vacation is a lot easier than working at work. Of course, the whole COVID work from home thing sort of spoiled that. The novelty of working barefoot with all the coffee I want has worn off.
I have a similar situation. I reached a certain level of affluence where I owned 4 camera devices. With burst mode and bracketing, I found myself using “holiday time” to try to process the deluge of digital images. I’m considering switching to watercolors for a while. :)
Merry Christmas and restful, fun-filled holiday season to all!
Nope. Home time is for working on home projects. Wait. I work from home. Hmmm. Work time at home is for work projects, home time at home is for home projects. Sounds good anyway.
Thank you for the best wishes for today. Chemo went very well – even had a few laughs with the nurses in day medicine. Met another patient also on psyclophosphomides with the same or similar immune disorder. I told here we are members of a very exclusive club. I was surprised to meet someone else who has the same issue as it is rather rare. Managed, after a nap, to finish decorating the tree so now I am ready for Christmas – but that may not be until Monday as my older daughter is supposed to drive up tomorrow but this storm does not want to be over by then. We told her to come Sunday if driving is not good tomorrow. We can wait a day for safety.
Have a great day tomorrow! Try to find time to relax and appreciate the beauty of the season – even if looking through driving snow.

Wish I had next week off. I’d spend it sleeping, reading, and watching tv.

I have next week off and I intend to relax…and enjoy my nature walks at the park when the windchill temperature gets above zero again.
