Where I work Facebook is blocked as are many other sites. Just as well really. We used to have a charge nurse who would sit at home monitoring Facebook and calling in when he found someone had used it.
Hey……..Facebook reports are coming in on how bad the blizzard is hitting you over there………….hang in there guys, I hope this aint The Day After Tomorrow…….
Several buildings I have been in have 0 bars of cell signal strength. Metal siding and reflective windows block it all. The only signal inside is the guest WiFi. That is easily fire-walled.
where I work we have internet access, as we need it for our job but other than say a yahoo homepage, we can not access any streaming radio, TV, Facebook, personal e-mail etc.
We do have internet access at work. But all social media sites such as FB, LinkedN and others are blocked. And for anyone working from home? Well, they are using the company computer – so still blocked. .Not often we get to see everyone being pod people.

Duh – That is management for you. Quicker to block everything at the firewall.
More fun to spread rumors what Facespace does with all the harvested data on you. Than watch the employees cringe in fear.

Turnabout is fair play. The Like button has hijacked some websites. Amazing Facebook is malware. Didn’t see that coming.

It would be great for it to be a ‘time-released’ type of virus/sickness, one that gets well AFTER working hours.
