there used to be a weather man in the DFW area that NEVER gave a weather report until he went and looked outside. He didn’t depend on the computer like most of them do now days. But as a co-worker of mine used to say, “the weather just hasn’t been the same since Harold died” RIP Harold Taft.
It’s all a matter of attitude and perspective! We used to sing “There is sunshine in my soul today” — so folks, if it looks grim outside, try to find some sunshine, or Sonshine, in your heart and pass it around!
I thought this was for comments about the comic strip and not a blog for political rhetoric. Is it me that’s confused or is it someone else who’s confused and yet thinks political comments from a confused person are persuasive?
That big expansion under Reagan was do to increased military spending. He spent more than any president did in peacetime.
The expansion came when the money stopped flowing for the Pentagon during Clinton’s time. The middle class had never been bigger and never had the standard of living.
Believe me, I did not like Slick Willie, nor did I vote for him. I am just giving credit where it is due.
I am not sorry for my commentary, but I am sorry that I infused politics into a wonderfully funny comic that I enjoy everyday, I won’t do it again. Happy Valentines Day to everyone.

Earl simply gets weather reports as good as the ones I see on TV.
Me, I trust my faithful weather rock to tell me what the current weather forecast is…

Also, night gaunt 49, i will own my role here, there is no need for that type of language here. You could have made your point without calling names.

jeanie5448: Amen. His best one was for 6 June 1944. He was on Stagg’s team back then.
