BLEEAH!
Where do I have to go for a descent cup of coffee?!
Northern Thailand.
"Black Ivory" coffee is made there and costs five hundred bucks per pound.
How sis it made?
Uh- hem...
allow me to address the elephant in the room.
There are a couple of places in the world where coffee growers fall down laughing at the idiots who buy these beans. It’s supposed to be decaffeinated, not defecated.
I work at a South Jersey Wawa. Elephant Poop Coffee is on the way! (just kidding) I don’t even drink coffee so I can’t speak to the quality of Wawa’s product, though they do make a wicked peppermint hot chocolate.
Integument – now that is a word I’ve never expected to see in comics.com, or most other non-scientific websites for that matter. My hat, were I to be wearing one, would be off to you.
On the bright side, elephants’ digestive system isn’t very efficient, so the—er… effects… of digestion aren’t very strong on what the coffee beans are “packaged” in.

I’m not sure defecated coffee beans are decent.

I’d heard of coffee made from the beans excreted by civets in Sumatra (otherwise known, among other terms, as “cat poop coffee”), but not this. Yummo.

And there is one more reason I am glad I do NOT drink coffee…

I just prefer to avoid coffee in the first place. ;-)
