Coming Soon 👀 At the beginning of April, you’ll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Is this a homage to the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers comic, where they decide to give up drugs, and spend a very uncomfortable couple of hours sitting around a table with nothing happening but the clock ticking?
If it is, Mona’s just about to decide being sober is a bummer, and she’ll go in a REAL drinking binge!
Incidentally, is anyone else getting that strange picture occupying most of the screen? Mine shows a badly-dressed mannequin holding a clock to her stomach.. trying to shift it by clicking on it takes you to a site called imgur that apparently hosts pictures. Is it just me?
Usually clock sounds are represented as “tick” and “tock.” When I see “tic” (no k) I read it as muscle spasm. Perhaps Mona’s trick knee is seriously acting up.

Either Mona got a Timex in her knee replacement or she’s sitting on an alarm clock.
