Christine was one of the first Stephen King books that I read. Whenever I cross a parking lot alone, I still imagine that a car is going to appear out of nowhere and chase me down. {shiver}
His short stories are his best works. As for the Dark Tower series…..it was a great read till the last book. You know it’s a bad ending when the author feels the need to defend it. It was a real shame too because it had sooo much potential.

Might I recommend The Eyes of the Dragon, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, or The Dark Tower series.

If you want her to go to sleep right away, try The Worm Ouroboros, if you don’t want her to sleep, The Dream-Quest of Unknown Kadath.

Try Mrs. Todd’s Shortcut. It’ll drive you crazy.
One of my favorites.

Hansel & Gretel and Jack The Dragon Slayer qualify as horror stories anyway. So she might as well read Stephen King. It makes little difference.
