This was the lamest story arc I’ve ever read for this strip! :-(

Well, maybe the Grand Vizier could pop over, wave some potion under Becky’s nose to help her change her mind, or everyone could pop over to Moo, and marry rampaging dinosaurs. or…

This reminded me of a Paul Harvey story.

Now I’m wishing that they HAD gotten married. That would have actually been funny!

Not quite the lamest story ever (remember the theater?) but very close. Thank god it is over!

I happened to really enjoy this story arc. Joel is an especially fun and appealing character in GA. I wish more of the story lines featured him. As far as this particular arc goes, I think it was a farcical look at the insidiousness of greed. The love of money can make almost anyone do things they otherwise would not do. Again, I appreciate this story arc.

I’ll have second DaJellyBelly’s comment. Glad this is done with. Exploring “the insidiousness of greed”, however worthy a subject that may be, could have been done far better than with this awful tale.
