Help anyone, please! I can’t seem to get any kind of a translation; I’m not sure if it because I don’t have the accents on my keyboard. One says:“Why I have to do it Sabine? I have crazy become etre. That! I lost my espirt this is the only explanation. Apres all I n’etais meme not specially hunger. I come.” The other says:“Why I do Sabine? I must be crazy. That! I lost my espirt is the only explanation. After all I was not even particularly hungry. I come from.”
The part where what I have seems to say: “After all I was not even particularly hungry…” Oh no… Maybe HE was the one boiling the big pot of water recently…!!!
Annie, here’s my take on it: Why did I do it, Sabine? I must be crazy. I lost my mind – that’s the only explanation! After all, I wasn’t even particularly hungry. Sabine! I’m coming, Sabine…
Well… gosh! : D Now I’m sort of hoping he’ll come back. Nah, not really – we’d just get more of the same angst from him.
Interesting turn of events. He is definitely better off doing himself in than staying in present company anyway. Guess they will need to find a new leader stat, those lazy moochers. Or maybe they’ll go save Tom just to have a “bold effective” leader back…
For once, I don’t think Scotty is responsible for a tragedy. He merely patted Jean-Claude’s back, while Jean-Claude’s body language and French language indicate he jumped.

He’s going to join Sabine. Scotty, you and the other mooch will have to fend for yourselves.

Does this mean that we get Tom back?

At least now we know Tom will have company when it’s his turn to seek the release of sweet, sweet death.

I think the tide’s in, so we might be seeing “Jean Claude” again.

James, you should cross-check your translator. The french text isn’t correct at all.

Jean-Claude is so selfish. That’s a terrible way to go! Next time, take Scotty and Rosemary with you!

Have you tried Google translate? It seems to do a better job, at least it mostly translates it the way I read it:
Panel 1“Why? Why did I do it, Sabine? I must have been crazy”. (The tenses are a little wrong in Google, but that’s how it should read.)
Panel 2I’m not sure why it starts with “Qui” which means “Who” or “Which”, but after that:“I lost my mind, Sabine. It’s the only explanation.”
Panel 3“After all, I wasn’t particularly hungry”
I think anniebodyhome may be right about the boiling pot of water!
