Wa-wa-waaaaaaa That had to be a boxing joke because It was a Flyweight. Spike just needs to hang with a Master; get some practical strategey under His Belt.
* smack @ *Six sounds good; i’ll get the Oven on and dig some Holes for People who feel a bit guilty after.
Why don’t We just get everyone in on the act, eh?Florrie’s miffed because Andy lost his ‘Fag’. Those Smokes come-out of the Rent Money, don’t you know.
To Gweedo, Godfreydaniel, Dry, Linda Dean, Chalkie, Afficionado, Number Six and anyone else who I’ve told or have read themselves about my Dr. Appointment.
My appointment went very well. Doctor checked my BP which was 131/85 and she also checked my height and weight which she said was perfect. I’m now on the medication which I’ll be starting tonight before I go to bed and in 3 months time I’ll have to see the nurse to get my BP check again in case it shoots up like a rocket.
The meds won’t prevent me from donating blood so I can continue doing that.
Gweedo, Thank you for your comment yesterday. I hope everything goes well for you just as it has for me when you go for your check up.
Beviek & Chalkie, I’m familiar with the term ‘Pie Hole’ by the way… I was just a bit confused when Chalkie brought it up ‘out of the blue’ but Thank you to Chalkie for his nice comment yesterday … It meant a lot and made me feel better along with Gweedo’s input.
Mikeyj, I’m glad I don’t bore you all… I kept thinking I did.
Dry, Don’t worry I’m fine… I’m just trying meds for a while as I feel they might help to ‘balance me out’ I can’t really go into a lot of detail on here but thank you for your concern but don’t waste your prayers on me. LOL.
I’ve joined the ‘medication ranks’ now but I know I’ll manage.Thank you to everyone who I mentioned for all your great support…
Number Three, I’m glad whatever it is, it is being treated. You are awfully young from what I understand your age is, to be taking BP medicine. I have been lucky so far not to need any, but my mom was on it. Hubby may end up on it too. I do know it has to be taken according to directions, which mom would forget to take (and she was an RN! And a Great one!), and hubby can’t take his multivitiamin unless he feels like it, so . . . . .
I have been trying to track down Gweedo, assuimng like Eldo/Chalkie he can still read the comments and make unseen posts, but I can’t track him back, so tell him I said hello, Please.
Number Three, OH I SEE, I SEE SAID THE BLIND MAN! :-D*
Yes, I got REALLY sick back in the 80’s with a REALLY bad stomach virus, from both ends! My hubby called my mom at the hosital and a doctor gave her some suppositories for my ailment. When she got off duty she came out and gave them to me. I felt better almost immediately. When she retired, she babysat my sons. Having a nurse in the family was handy. And she was good and knew as much as the doctors. Sadly, she passed away in 2005 at the age of 89. My dad passed in 2009 at the age of 96, healthy in mind and body, living in the home my parents built. Or as he called it after mom died, “it’s not a home anymore, but it is my house, and I will continue to live here”. Luckily it was only 3 miles away. My oldest son lives in that house now.
I guess I am pretty good at writing essays, too! Sorry about that.
Musta started out on Burgundy . . .Looks like He already did the “Monkey See” and’s mastered “sees no”; hear and feel are “no concern” and Uncle Earnie’s ’oliday Camp got closed due to Monkey business in the first Place. Circuitous Vessel Syndrome, or summat.
@MikeyjNice picture of Andy’s dreams but I’ve heard that alcohol disrupts dreams (not that I have any personal experience with that……….) And if you’re ever in the mood to continue your “Andy as drawn by” series, I still vote for Jack Kirby!
