Eesh! That sucks.

Another of life’s important lessons, Nelson! Dust is best left unnoticed, especially at Gramma’s house :)

Ha Ha! I kinda understand, once drawn upon, the furniture has to be dusted. And since Earl and Opal take pride in their home, she would have to drop everything and dust now. Even if she were making dinner for her two favorite fellas. But me, I would have handed the little guy a swiffer and told him to get busy! (he might even have enjoyed the little chore!)

WHAT did you write on the furniture?

Why des Nelson have the foot rest up when hislegs are too short to even reach it?

It is OK to write your name in the dust, just not the date.

That time-out chair looks comfy. I’d write something in dust just so that I could sit in it. ;)

Yeah, well, time to get him to clean, isn’t it?

Opal just dusted a couple of days ago, so how could there be dust ? (Remember she dusted Earl’s head)

Why is Nelson’s grandma giving him a timeout? Where are his parents?

The Time-Out chair sure looks comfy; maybe Nelson did it just to sit there for a bit and not have to listen to grandma. I have a chair like that, I’m gonna start calling it that so when I sit down for a bit to relax I can yell, “Time Out!”

Yeah! Someday, in the future, the young boy will become an old man. Strange but true…

My Mother-in-law wrote her name in the dust at my house. And she giggled……….(it was funny)

Don’t get mad at your kids for finding dust… hand them a duster.

Maybe it was the four letter word that Nelson wrote that really landed him in trouble.

I do this when I want my husband to dust .. sometimes he takes the hint but like Earl he can wiggle his way out of it.

Oh dear sounds like my house anything above floor level.

It looks like Nelson got his wish from yesterday!

Wife (coming into my den where I’m confortably ensconced watching tv): “What’s on tv?”

Me: “Dust.”

And that’s when the fight started…

I hate to dust… Rather vacume 10 times than dust once.

I didn’t have a ‘time-out chair’, I had a ‘time-out floor’. I was laying on it after my father knocked me down.

@Llewellenbruce — Opal made Earl use the time-out chair previously & he forgot to put the footrest down.

That makes sense Opal. Get mad at a child for having fun with something that proves you’re failing at at what you want. (you’re not perfect)
