Thanks for all the warm wishes. My six children are all adults like you but still need someone to help them with all the issues they face. Everyone could use some moral support and humour each day to make life that much more pleasant to deal with. These comics help put life into perspective…We watch Luann go through all her teenage angst and we can see she’s making it so we have a bit more faith that we will too.

Our oldest daughter is 40-something(I know but am not going to tell), has a husband and a daughter and handles a lot of things by herself but still call ‘Momma’ to ‘bounce’ ideas off of to deal with life. Two of our children are Mothers and to them, I say ’ Happy Mother’s Day’ you have earned it and we are proud of you !!!!

I agree! No matter how rotten I feel, if I get some time with my girlfriends, I feel much better! I need a group for the group

Happy Mothers Day – especially to those who want so badly to be mothers but cannot. And to those whose children are gone prematurely for whom this is such a bittersweet day. You too are in our hearts!

I’d love a support group. But I’m completely alone with no one I can talk to.

One of our Friday morning coffee group was asked by her boss to work Friday morning instead of her usual Friday afternoon shift. She told him she couldn’t. She told him she had a group therapy session on Friday mornings.

& on Mother’s Day their families will pretend for a few hours to appreciate them.

Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers, would-be mothers, people of all types who fulfill that role, and mothers of entities that are not human children and want to be included!

True, but hopefully the nice people overpower the bullies. I try to ignore the rude ones (although I don’t always succeed… sheepish grin :-))

Yes, everyone does need a support group — and this is where women first began to get the notion that they should have some rights — in fact the same rights that the men in their lives had.
