Children’s laughter doen’t manage everything, Calvin!

Not when the child’s laughter sounds diabolical and evil…

He couldn’t lift it, he couldn’t get out Hobbes of the bed, he is too large and too heavy!

Nice try,but youll have to come up with better material than that.Moms on to you.

I think Calvin has a much closer relationship with his father than his mother.

wait until calvin becomes a teenager….

Mom’s probably seen, done or heard it all by now.

c’mon, Mom, can’t you take a joke

Calvin isn’t malicious at heart. A truly diabolical only child would pit his parents against each other and see how close to the edge he could push dad’s temper.

I’ve told my children and grandchildren many times, “Don’t mess it up and you won’t have to clean it up!”

Could it be that Mom thinks Calvin is mocking her? Perish the thought!

Calvin and Hobbes has been a favorite in our family forever. Now that I have 3 wild and wacky grandsons I love it even more.

Parentling is like tennis or golf. You’ve got to follow through…

An all-too-frequent monologue when mom brings the kids along to get her eyes examined.

We had a visiting child at Mass today—cute girl, who walked and laughed much like Boo from “Monsters Inc.” She made me sentimental.

Calvin’s response didn’t cut it with our mom either.

That’s obviously a “no” either way you look @ it. Lol And that was a little disrespectful getting smart with his mom. Also, how come no one uses phrases like “tuckered out” or “Pick up your room” anymore. I think I’ll start talking like that. Haha Bring back the old days.

OMG! I can hardly believe that I read this here – it takes me back 70 years when my neighborhood friend’s grandmom said to my buddy “pick up your room” and I laughed out loud (she was not amused).
