Yes, indeed we do things differently in Colorado… but not email. Spoken like the stoner he is. Now that Colorado legislature has unveiled the laws pertaining to this thread, I imagine many will be copying Zonk

According the the “news article” re: B.D.‘s injuries in the archives, this is Walden, CT. However, these backgrounds sure look like the west w/ the mountains, et. al. but it’s Walden, Connecticut per archives. Creative license….

The market here in Colorado is already saturated with ganjapreneurs (I think I just made up that term – I hereby release to the public domain) so rather than packing up your chartreuse microbus with your grow lights and seed stock, maybe you should work to get your state’s laws in line with Colorado’s.

Zonker may be an air head, but he is one sweet person! And today’s strip is very touching. Even BD and Boopsie would miss him!

Just FYI, for those who are wondering: There are huge evergreens, dense forests (with much larger trees than in the west, as it is a moist climate) and mountains (not Rocky-size) in New England. I grew up there. This scenery does not look out of place; much of New England is small-town and rural. I now live in the mountain west, so I know the difference in landscape. I agree with those who find this strip touching today! :-)

Lockheed Martin and other defense contractors have been cutting their throats for years by not hiring stoners. A friend at L3 Communications working on the Navy’s new RPV burned out because he was staying weed free and they asked him to do a project requiring creativity. I had to try to help him solve his latency issues as the game I was working on at the time had issues related to that playing transcontinental. It still didn’t work and he eventually lost it and got canned. All trying to solve a problem I’d previously seen twice before myself, and I’d found TWO ways to solve it, the way the guy before me did, and the way I found.

Weed makes for great creations and in most cases, stable minds, whereas cocaine and meth make for busy workers, who make MANY mistakes. Colorado had the right idea there, and the wrong idea voting on my weapons limits, sort of counterintuitive until you consider the Democrats don’t believe they’ll pick up any more votes by going actively pro-legalization.

Once in a while Trudeau adds a little sweetness to the humor.

there are mountains in New England I know, but this sure looks close to the background for the Washington strips. Will be interesting where things go, Zonker going to find Duke’s old house in Colorado? He won’t have the music if he does find it.

Someone asked earlier this week what’s the difference between Sam and Alex? Sam can say in 2 or 3 words something that takes Alex a hundred words to say.

I always thought it was northwest Connecticut.

Wow, how many parents (caregivers) hear that from the kids? She’s a sweetie and he helped make her that way.

I should have stayed to see if any of you caught something so obvious that you would have seen it instantly. But I was wrong. Why didn’t Zonker do this when he left the FIRST time? Is his mind so messed up that he forgot to give Sam a goodbye hug? The computer, his wallet, the other stuff, maybe. But the young lady he helped raise from a baby, he says his goodbyes while picking up his other stuff? Or did GT forget to put that in earlier?

First: I think it was sweet of Zonker to say it was a joy; Second: Doesn’t Sam have parents? I know I’ve seen them around.
