I’d put a little rat-a-tat-tat into the box and then haul it out to the dumpster, if you know what I mean.

I started making my Friendly box right after reading this strip… solves a lot of issues for me.

I read that source about SP retiring, and if you actually think it’s true then I’ve got a few bridges I’d like to sell you.

A pun should be fresh, clever, and ideally original or surprising wordplay. Stephan is good at it; the commenters here are not. Please refrain from lame attempts such as, well, those above: “a leg to stand on”, “feel boxed in”, “out on a limb”, “think outside the box”, etc. Let’s leave that stage to Pastis when you’re tempted to post one that weak.

Personally, I can’t even imagine Pastis retiring. The “Pearls” gang is like a family to me. Keep it up, Stephan.
