I never heard of this. My number one comic growing up was Katy Keene. I wonder if she’s still around.

At Otto,Some storefront entrepreneur dreamed it up and he and wife made some costumes, publicised, and VOILA! A mini Comicon! I don’t go to any although I once participated (with Cuddles) at an SCA demonstration at same venue as a Comicon. I was dressed in my own silk Medieval gown as Lady Beatrice of the Aviary and we had fun! I read some comic books as a kid (Mad Magazine too) and they are still around. Only Cuddles could drag me out to mill around in crowds and she died in 2008
