Smaller enlargement can be found at Mr. Melcher’s blog entry. An Old Woman Praying (not to be confused with this) isn’t among the 71 European artworks shown online by its current-location. This partially-obscured, taken-from-the-side, click-to-enlarge image, is number 12 in the slideshow presented there. It is described in 3 pages of an online book, starting here. The artist‘s Wikipedia page and collection (more under Subcategories).Second, of the 3 works, by this artist, that have, so far, appeared in Mr. Melcher’s blog, to also appear here. The Second link points to the prior strip featuring a work by this artist. @Baslim the begger, a frequent contributor in the first months of this strip, left at least one comment there that has been deleted. In fact, as far as I can tell, all his That Is Priceless comments have been deleted. If he (or she) is reading this, I hope you’re well. I miss your contributions.
